Plazaola Biziz Bizi
Ride the peninsula's first greenway by bike: 78 km of tunnels, bridges and lush forest.
Plazaola Biziz Bizi is a Cycle-Tourism Centre that aims to champion the bicycle as a sustainable means of transport and a different way to discover the area: its heritage, culture, traditions, landscapes, environment and the people who live here. We are based in the old slaughterhouse of Lekunberri, next to the Aritzalde oak forest and the Beigorri Adventure Park.
Our services
- Bike rental: standard, electric and adapted (adapted tricycle for riders and handbikes for wheelchair users).
- Accessory rental: helmets, lights, child seats, racks, panniers, etc.
- Transport of people and bikes.
- Guided routes, GPS tracks and cycling trips.
- Workshop for small repairs and spare parts.
- Secure bike storage and a cleaning point.
- Shower and toilet facilities.
- Advice, training, workshops and events.

The Plazaola Greenway
Spain's first greenway (1989), it links Pamplona with Andoain over 77.2 km between Navarre and Gipuzkoa, following the old route of the "little train". And, over almost another 20 km, we reach San Sebastián via a network of bike lanes (bidegorris).
- 78 waymarked km, traffic-free, with sections suitable for reduced mobility (+20 km to San Sebastián).
- 53 tunnels (some unlit): carrying a light is recommended.
- Bring warm clothing for the tunnels, especially Uitzi (2.7 km).
- There are spots with no mobile coverage.
- Mind the mountain weather.
